you need a control box to handle the switching between power sources and prevent backfeeds from one source to another (check with your electric company for their rules about hooking up power generation devices).
www.mrsolar.com has some equipment you could use, and anywhere else that carries solar or professional electric stuff.
It might also be a heck of a lot easier to run a few new circuits where you want them and hook them up to the generator when you need it - this is what I did at work a few years ago with a 15 KVA generator and our computers.
