My troy bilt riding mower blades will not engage when I pull up the button to lower the blades. Why?
When I turn the mower own and try to lower the blades it does not engage. The blades are will not turn. Why?
The mower cuts on. I then take the brake off. I pull up the lever to engage the blades. I don't get the electrical pull that usually happens when I pull the lever up to lower the blades. HELP!
there should be two separate levers lowering and engaging, but if this mower is different you might make sure the blades can turn and are not seized. other than that, bad belt? loose drive pulley?
